Hey guys,
I’ve been trying for a while to get a rain effect for a website I’m working on. I altered the snow tutorial featured here on Kirupa and managed to get a half-decent looking rain effect, but now a new problem has arrived.
My current setup has a border around the page. I set up my files so that the background was on its own layer, a layer with the rain effect on top of that, and the layer with the border above the rain layer. The problem is that the rain travels over the border, instead on passing behind it.
Any ideas? I would attatch a fla, but it’s way too big. Even the swf is monsterous. I followed the snow tutorial exactly though, except I draw a line instead of a circle.
