…and my God, what a beautiful system. Not just aesthetics, but just the out of box value of it is one of the best I’ve seen in a while. Within minutes I was streaming video from my computer to the PS3 (RIP XBMC :(). I was playing with the features so much that I completely forgot about the games I bought with it.
One of my favorite features, though, is its interaction with a PSP. With the latest firmware, you can actually stream content directly to the PSP and control the dashboard from it. It’s something like remote desktop for the PS3. Apparently, you can also do this through the Internet, where your PS3 essentially becomes a media server you can stream from. Might be something I want to try at work.
I have all the next gen consoles and this is quickly becoming a favorite.
