I’ve done a bit of searching on these forums for info on bringing video into Flash and haven’t found much to help me, so just to let everyone know-- i have searched.
Ok for this CDrom we have, we brought the video in as .mov’s. The reason we did this was because when we exported them out of Final Cut Pro 4 as FLV’s, even at the highest settings the video quality was terrible. It may be ok for web but not CDrom. So with the .mov’s they look good, but the sound is scratchy and there are no sound quality options on import. The sound quality was the same no matter what video quality we imported at.
I also tried stripping the audio out of the video and laying the audio track in along with the video in a layer in Flash, and it played fine within Flash, but when i published it and tried it there was no sound.
So has anyone else come across these problems and found a fix?
