I don’t think I explained the problem properly…
My banner ad plays with sound off as the default setting.
There are a couple of sound effects that play with animations. The animations are movie clips.
If the user decides to turn the sound on I need the sounds to be ready to play at the appropriate time and not before.
At the moment I have each sound in a mc with two frames, stop and play.
If the user presses the sound on button the sounds play straight away and not when they should - with the animation
Does anyone know how I can tell the sound to be active but not play until the animation that has the sound effect is in view?
