this was originally the “.fla file stops on 2nd frame” post - but looking for some further insight on this more specific topic - hence the new post w/more specific title line…
background: work computer crashed, all original .wav files there… had .fla files tucked neatly onto my flash stick (but no .wav files) & went to home computer. everything seemed to be working fine but then started editing .fla files on home computer. now no audio works (from published html file).
deduction: when sync setting is on ‘stream’, audio files need to be in consistent, find-able directory (for flash). once published, everything is fine and packaged but begin to edit .fla files in another environment where .wav directory isn’t accessible and sound files won’t play (even though the waveforms still show up in my .fla file).
is this an accurate theory?
ps - thanks to REEF for all the help on my previous post…
