Sound in html

Hi,

I have just got into actionscript and am sure there is a very simple answer to my question.

I have created a flash game and put it online. it shows ok but there is no sound at all. there should be background music and sfx but there is nothing.

any ideas?

any help would be appreciated.

Show your code on how you are trying to get the sound play. Does it work locally when tested on your machine (publish)? If it does and doesnt work online make sure you have added the sound assets correctly and are referencing them correctly.
