After looking at www.dontclick.it I finally found the effect I’ve been looking to get working in flash. I’m trying to get a wire (with a jack at the end) to be pulled around. I want it so that, the person can click and hold the jack and pull it around while the wire is fed from the top of the page.
I’ve never been able to get the jack or the wire to move around freely, I can only drag the jack and wire(which is prdrawn to be wiggly). On the dontclick site, the wire never really goes past a certain point on top of the page, it stays within an area of like 200 pixels, and the mouse and wire slide around.
Can anyone attempt to explain to me how something like that is done? I’d really apprecaite any help
