hi. I’m using the barfill preloader from one of the tutorials.
Here’s the strange problem:
with the preloader the resolution of my flash movie is decreased. I have no idea why.

When I viewed your site the resolution seemed to be exactly the same between the two versions! I may not be understanding the question but I am thinking that you may have a local problem or mabye you fixed the problem before I looked at both version!
no, I didn’t fix it. There is defanitly a slight but distinct differance between the two pages in the navbar (aka the time line). the one with the preloader is grainier.
