I’ve built a flash questionnaire (in CS3, exported as flash 9, AS2) that has several frames with inputboxes that only take numerals. These input boxes already have a ‘zero’ in them.
Here’s the ‘strangeness’:
Only on ‘certain’ frames, when tabbing, the ‘zero’ is highlighted, but when you type in a number to replace it, the zero disappears and the textbox is left blank. You CANNOT add a character, or click out of the box and back in or do ANYTHING. You have to navigate away from that frame and back to it before you can enter anything. If you click and drag over the zero with your mouse and replace it, it works fine.
I’ve double-checked font embedding (again though, it works fine if you use the mouse), I’ve set tabIndex for all boxes that I want to use on that frame, and still nothing.
There are about 6 frames with these (many) text boxes, and (here’s another strangeness) I think 2 of the frames exhibit this behaviour, the others are fine. BUT, when I import this into SWF studio to create an exe file, I can’t use the tabbing option on ANY of the frames. Same ‘blank’ box with (what seems like) editing disabled.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
