I’ve created a DVD project and have 50 odd videos (in SWF format) that I am playing back in my own custom video player. The videos load in via a blank MC.
All the videos are between 15-25MB and it works fine when running off the HDD. But when I play them off the DVD the whole project seems to pause while it loads a selected video. I thought about a preloader but everything stops when I chose a video to load in so I don’t think this will work.
Is it possible to stream an SWF file on a DVD or is there any other way to get around this? I wouldn’t have thought I’d have this problem with DVD!
