Is anyone aware of a method where I can connect to a stream from a Windows Media server (mms://) and play a video through a Flash MX 2004 SWF?
I was originally going to construct something like this in Java but I believe that the recent demise of Microsoft’s Java support would cause a lot of problems for the end user. Flash is my best bet.
If anyone could point me in the direction of a good tutorial specific to WMV Streaming and Flash, I would appreciate it. I have found a lot of resources on encoding video into a SWF and streaming MPEG but nothing specific to Microsoft formats.
