Hi,
I’m working on a flash game project that will be very similar to street fighter or mortal combat.
The basic tutorial I am working from is here:

The biggest hangup I’m having is how to make a computer opponent fight me.
I can make the animations and I understand the hit test process, but how does the computer oppenent know how to fight?
Any suggestions are welcome, or if you know of a better tutorial to work from I’d really appreciate it.
