Hi,
I am making an online tool using Flash. The idea is this: Users log onto a website, and my flash app will (hopefully) show who is online graphically.
What I have: A website that users log on to, when they do, a record is put into my database, and it is removed when either they log out (or session abandons). This is working perfectly.
So now I have my flash file. In the library, I have made a movie clip of a little stick figure (representing a person online!), so what I need to do, is check what is in the Online Table of my Database, and for each record (i.e. person online), I need to create an instance of the stick man and place it randomly on the stage.
Can anyone help, or know if this can even be done? I would really appreciate any help. Thanks so much.
