Trying to use SWFObject in this clients web page.
It works fine in Firefox, but in IE I am unable to connect to the DB backend.
I’m thinking this has something to do wiht the swf being embedded wrong and not having proper security permissions… getting stuck inside of the sandbox basically.
Does anyone have decent experience with this area?
The swf is in a div…
That div is in another div containing a jquery fancybox with css style display:none
It seems to be this display:none style screwing everything up.
When I take it out of that div, everything works fine. Not really a great solution though since it messed up the rest of the website. i hate ie…
