with your in-depth description of your problem…I have very little to say but, WHA?!
ok ok sorry about the crap explanation but i was in a rush…
i’ll try again…i’ve been trying to construct the 3d open cube object using 3 rectangles but because of the icons unconventional perpective, this simply doesn’t work.
do you think i have to create the object with trapeziums?
i’ve attached a shockingly bad example for you to laugh at…
if you understand what i’m trying to do and can help i would be most happy…
cheers
dan
Once you have created the object and grouped it ( if you used a few objects ) - centre it with both the pivots and positioning in both top and front views.
Now make a target camera and set it up to give a perspective like view of the object.
Apply a standard default spin to the object while in front window.
Color it to your liking. Export it.
I have used a 3ds model to speed things up here:
hey, thanks for your time on this, much appreciated. unfortuntely i’m using swift 3d v2.0 so i couldn’t open the file you attached. is it possible to save v3.0 files as v.20 files as you are able to do in flash mx
thanks again
dan
