omg! I didn’t know swify was so powerful!
I like the seseond one better! Kinda more chromage…!

Holy ****! how did you do that???

i think he created some renders using Swift (which now supports a raster render format), and created the effects such as scan lines in Photoshop. Am i correct in my assumptions?

very nice yes ya’ll swift is very much a nice program…I have seen some amazing stuff done with it…and the program is so easy to use…you have to know no 3d at all.

I used a trial a while back and loved it, but my pockets are empty causae this PowerBook i am getting soon is gonna put me out for a bit (but i am going for the 19 so i dont think i will be TO upset hehehe)

yeah, I rendered it from swift, took it to Photoshop, and i put scanlines and a blue color tint and those blue borders =)

buy a power book over a program anyday…

'cos having one of them is when the fun starts…

not to be off topic but… speaking of swift, what program and how can you bring in… (i think they are paths)?

thx, btw… very nice renders and nice photoshop touchups

Man, Swift is so confusing! It makes 3ds max look easy! How did you do the renders in Swift?

hawk:

You can use any vector proggy that saves as .eps or .ai8 and lower.

v3 of swift lets you choose your render type vector or raster

Never thought you could do such detail in Swift. I guess i should take another look at it. Second one i think was better. Nice work

nice work cybergold ! :beam:

Its not too hard to get a render like that in swift, you just need to know some basic 3d skills in lighting and materials. Alot of people just throw something together and try to render it out and it looks S*** , but what you need to do is create some lights for your object. some can be spot some can be point. some can be far some can be near. Just play around with it and you should get some intresting results.

:::BTW:::: I found rendering in vector to be better. so what i do, is render out as a swf , import it into flash, resize it to what i like then export that to a png and use it in photoshop, for some reason i think the raster render is not perfected yet.

Oh. Well I think that cheese bugers at mcdonalds are better than at bugerking, but burgerking has better fries.
