Sync with outlook

can anyone provide any direction on how to sync a calendar that we’re building with outlook?

the company that we are building the calendar for wants their users to be able to take their website calendar and sync it into their outlook.

any thoughts?

You will need to export/import .ical files. They are simple xml-like files. Just create a calendar event in outlook, and save it as an ical file, then open it up in notepad. You will see the structure, and you can do database queries and fill the data in dynamically.
