Taking a snotshot of yahoo maps api

ok ive been playin around with the yahoo maps flash api, and the bitmapdata class alot, and what i want to create is a way for you capture a picture of the map and print it. now i got it working locally on my computer, but when i put it up on the server it freezes up and doesnt copy a picture of the map it just copies white space, and ive noticed that even locally it captures alot of white space that isnt there. anyone got any ideas.
