hey,
i’ve decided to take a break from flash and redesign a site i had never even finished - mainly because the people hitting up this site are going to be older so i wanted to cut down on load time and make the navigation much more straightforward. i’m trying to go for an elegant look here…but i think i’m struggling.
here is an idea of a layout…i’ve hit a block so i come to you all for feedback (any feedback)

fyi: the two sidebars and header will remain the same for all pages. the center will be a frame that holds the content of each page. the bar on the right will actually be a flash media player (couldn’t stay away from flash entirely).
now i know some of the little images on the top are repeating and the fonts are kind of difficult to read, but i’m really just looking for layout feedback…maybe some suggestions on how to make the header above all more aesthetically appealing…and basically just what you guys think.
