Has anyone here ever worked with version control tools? I’m especially interested in PHP and general web development version control stuff, does anyone have any suggestions as to which software to choose and can describe to me generally how that works?
Me and my colleagues have been developing some online project management software and are planning on making a shopping cart system, and we’ve got quite some complex stuff going on but slowly it’s kind of getting out of hand, keeping track of what was changed, when, by whom, etc, I think version control software would be a really good solution here, it’s just that I don’t have any prior experience with it.
