Text from external .txt wont show in browser

i am loading a .txt file into a dynamically loaded text box.
Now when i test the movie, the text shows up and the text loads, and it can be scrolled, but when i upload those file to my host, and load the page, the text doesnt show up but the rest of page dies (the up and down arrows and the title which is in another text box)!!! how can this be?

have you tried with the absolute path to the text file ??
http://jacquelinehumphries.net/text.txt or whatever the path is :slight_smile:

about the scrollers not working and the title … i have no idea
i’d need to see the file. attach the fla or post the code [size=1]preferably the fla ;)[/size]

thanks for checkin it out, its weird its not working for me but it is when you upload…you are imbedding the ute swf in an html file while i am not, is that problem??..it shouldntbe cause i did the same thing for the bio section (http://www.jacquelinehumphries.net/welcome/welcome.html --> click on BIO) and it loads fine…i have no idea whats going on…thanks for the persistence

try to save your html file in the same folder with your other swf and ute.html files, it worked for me.
