I’m trying to make a movie file which will fade in/out an array of words one after the other.
The dynamic textbox which will hold the words has several visual filters applied to it (new to Flash 8, I believe). In my code, when I try and change the word in the textbox it remains visually blank, regardless of whether it is in the fade in loop or not. But, when I use a trace method on the text value of the box it says it’s changed!?! :fight: So for some reason the filter is stopping the dynamic text from displaying.
I’ve yet to add the incrementing of the word to my code, I code one problem at a time.
Any ideas what could be causing this? or can anyone spot any errors in my code?
