Ok, so even though I’ve been trolling and occasionally participating in the boards for a while now, unlike most of you I don’t work in any type of graphic design field. I actually just started my first semester, at the tender age of 30, in a graphic design degree program here in FL.
Anyway, one of our first assignments is to put together a report on a designer of our choice and I picked Luba Lukova, a graphic designer/poster artist/etc. She’s had many exhibitions around the world, awards, works as an illustrator in the op-ed section of the NY Times, has been commissioned by Time Magazine, Sony Music, Harvard, etc etc etc.
So I found an email address while doing some research online and sent her an email a couple nights ago. This morning I check my email and what do I find? She replied!!! And offered to send any info or images I might need for my report! How cool is that?
