This is not so much a technical question, I’m just trying to get a good understanding of the definition of “stroke” as it’s used in Flash (usually in conjunction with “fill”)
Most terms in Adobe apps come from classical graphics design use. Is there anyone with a graphics design background who can point out a good definition of “stroke” as Flash uses it? I know what “fill” is, and previously I’ve known “stroke” to be either a line through a word, or a line as painted independently, as in “brush stroke”.
But “stroke” in Flash seems as though it means “outer edge line” or “border”. Does that come from classic graphics usage, or what? (it feels like they should be calling it “border”)
