Hello everyone,
It’s been a while since I’ve been in the “web developing world” and I think I missed a few steps along the way during that off period. Things change in life, and I need to make myself a new website. I found the website of Oleg Dou (www.olegdou.com - down for now - visit http://slaveryfootprint.org/ for another example), which I love. Since there’s a Flash / HTML5 battle going on (or something), I want to try something different and make my own website without Flash this time, like his.
What I don’t get is the “Art” section. How does he do the scrolling (to other artwork) while maintaining the (animated) menu and other elements in place? I’m a big newbie in HTML5, so please, be gentle. 
Could anyone help me out or direct me to an existing post / tutorial on this?
