Hi,
I’ve used some tutorials from this site to create a really nice photo gallery using an external xml file to locate both the thumbnails and the full size images.
The thumbnails themselves are loaded inside a movieclip which allows them to be scrolled by the user - but unfortunately this movie clip itself seems to require a preloader of some kind because it take a long time for all the thumbnails to load and it looks very unprofessional.
I’ve been trying to solve this by searching for a tutorial for a simple preloader that maybe I can put inside the thumbnail gallery movieclip… but I’m having no success and I was wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction. (Especially if I’m approaching this the wrong way).
