Does the TLF require that the machine playing it / the computer playing it / user playing it have the same font installed in their machine in order for them to view it the way i designed it?
for example, if say in html, how you define a font family, if you have say “helvetica”, arial, tahoma ; etc…if helvetica is not installed in the machine used to view it, then its replaced by the fonts i listed in the order i specified and if NONE are installed then it defaults to whatever.
now in flash, i know that fonts before were i guess treated by lack of a better description, as a graphic in that whatever font you used, that was how the user saw it. do i have to do something similar as far as naming a font family or???
in TLF with all these options, (and clarity in font sharpness and selectability which is what i want from it ) typography styles etc…
can i still apply whatever font i want and not worry about it or?
ive searched google but found no good info.
thanks in advance:jamesbond:
