I am a Flash noob and I fear I have made a grave error.
I took a crash course in Flash and went straight to work designing my page in Photoshop and booting everything over to assemble in Flash.
I created a nice little landing home page animation with a stage size of 1000x600. However the size of my gallery page is 1000x1209 and another section - all part of the same file - is even longer than that - about 1000x 5000.
Now, I soon discovered upon testing the movie that there is no way to scroll down to view the rest of the content past the 600 stage size threshhold without changing the size for the entire file and screwing the whole thing up.
The uiscroll pane and bar components seem to be designed for scrolling text and not the entire page layout so my attempts at using those components have been useless and frustrating.
It looks like my only option is to start all over in Dreamweaver as Flash cannot variate page sizes within a single file and has no way to scroll down the page if content is larger than the set stage size.
This is really irritating. Is there any way around this?
