hi
this is probably really obvious to you guys but i’m in the process of making a slideshow with pictures fading one after another. they have black bgs so i want the bg to be black while they’re fading
however, they start off white, fade to the black pictures, then fade back out to white and i really want to change that
can anyone help?
Not entirely sure without seeing some of the fla code, but it sounds like you might have a tween that’s altering the colour or alpha of a movieclip background. If so, you’ll need to change the code or delete it.
If you’re making the slideshow using Scenes in Flash, then could be a slide transition effect that you can edit via the Windows - Behaviours panel.
Just create a layer under the layer that contains the pictures fading/tweening. Select the Rectangle Tool without a edge. Doesn’t have to be the exact size of your stage. Then select that rectangle you just drew, set the width and length of the rectangle to your stage’s width and length. Voila! you have it.
