Following the tutorial on this site for “Transitions Between External SWF” was successful.
My question is concerning the creation of an external swf with text scrolling ability. I haven’t stumbled upon such a tutorial (is there one?). I created an swf that has scrollable text. When tested the SWF displays, and using the mouse to “rollover” up or down arrows, the information scrolls. I created poster images on my home page. When rolled-over a pop-up(text) appears introducing the SWF. When clicked, the SWF displays on an alpha fade-in-tween, like my other SWF’s.
However, THIS swf will not scroll on my homepage or any other pages where my poster-button resides. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to have a scrolling transitional external SWF on a web page that function properly. If yes, what could be the problem(s) why it works in test mode but not on my webpage? The .fla file exceeds the requirement to post.
