What kind of transition are you talking about here?
The best way I have found for transitions is using easing whener I tween an object…it adds a more realistic look.
Easing Out makes the tween go from fast to slow, like as if a car is slowing down, or a bouncing ball going up and being slowed by gravity.
Easing In makes the tween go from slow to fast, like as if a car is speeding up, or an object falling down from the sky and becoming faster as it goes because of gravity.
Animation is just physics put into web design!
