Transitions Bad way Or Good Way?

Hi Guys

I am currently working on v1.0 of my website and i was just wondering. I have an empty movie clip in which my .swf’s are loaded into.

I didnt know how to do proper transitions so i decided to do this. I took the .swf that was loaded up and create the “transition” effect in that. E.g.

You click home the buttons slide off (animation in the main .swf) when the new page is loaded the bars slide on (at the begining of the other .swf) it’s hard to explain but is this a bad way of doing transitions because the other transitions baffle me :). Even the one on Kirupa confuses me :).

If you have no idea what i am going on about just ask and i give u some better info. :confused:

One thing I’ve learned is that if it gets the job done then it’s right. Everyone develops their own way of doing things and there are definitely more than one way. So if it works then stick with it and refine it. If you come across an easier method then use it, but if it’s more confusing than what you have already, but does the same then you’re only racking your brain for the same result.

Someday i learn the actionscipt way for now i’m all with the animation .swf way :). Thanx Eg havent seen u around lately
