I found this example movie some time ago and some how several objects are transparent! The objects are simple rectangles drawn in flash but you can see what is underneath them! No alpha involved! How do I choose these transparent colours??

ok something is wrong with that file, I can’t open it. It says “unexpected file format”
It’s transparent because the fill for the green is transparent, double click on it and select the the green object and you’ll see that there’s an alpha applied to the green fill.
COOL! Thanks electrongeek I didn’t know that!! I thought that it had to be a symbol to use alpha! Learnt something new! =)
