Hi - I am working on a flash project.
I am trying to use an xml connector to link external xml data to text boxes within flash. I have no trouble binding the info. on the main stage. It works fine - it pulls the info from the xml file and places it with in the text boxes.
However I want to embed the xml info. within text boxes which are located within movieclips.
I have tried to place the xml connector on the main stage and also within the movie clips but neither way allows me to bind the information.
I read in a previous post from march that this was due to a coding error which would be resolved with a future patch from macromedia. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to embed xml data within a movieclip via an xmlconnector and if it is possible can they outline what I am doing wrong.
