Hello, I’ve been using kirupa a lot, its much more helpful than the $50 flash book I bought! The tutorials are great, and this site is a great resource.
I did the “create a photogallery” tutorial in a new file, and it worked great. Only thing is, I tried to place it on a file of the site I’ve been working on, deep in the timeline and it doesn’t work. I tried on a new file again, moving the movieclip along with the action script further down the timeline and again it didn’t work. It seems that if the action script and the movieclip are not on the first frame, it will not work. Does the action script need to be modified? I can’t figure out why it doesn’t work because I got the photogallery to work flawlessly when I did it in its own file. Please help!
