I have this great scrolling gallery with pop-up preview function that I’d like to embed in my website, but need to modify it.

I am a beginner in AS3 and have so far been lost in where to start modifying this app to do the following:
-Instead of image previews, just have each thumbnail direct link to a full page. The reason is that I don’t want to make my whole site flash, just this gallery, and the previews don’t have room to expand within that space. It would be great if it could expand like Lightbox over an HTML, not Flash, site but that’s not necessary.
-To create a margin around the thumbnail strip. I can’t seem to scroll all the way to the right of the right-most thumbnail, it stops short. And once I’m at the right-most (last) thumbnail, the hovering tooltip cuts off.
Perhaps I can include the link info in the XML file and have it read that? (So that I can keep it dynamic by allowing me to change gallery content with just changes to the XML.) I realize this is asking for a lot, since this is a complex program I’m modifying, but any and all help is greatly appreciated!
