I have been asked to depict constellations as if they were time lapse photography. Because the viewpoint of the animations would be photos of night hunting zoo animals in their habitat, the view of the constellations, would be straight ahead.
The only star map I have so far that I thought might work is for the whole northern hemisphere. A rotation of that would not be from a straight ahead view.
Any suggestions from math heads who get astronomy more so than this art head appreciated.
