Turntable Scratch Effect

Only just starting learning flash mx and am wanting some advice on creating a turntable scratch in flash motion with one sound (scratch), basically its just a record that keeps spinning around and when you point the mouse over the spinning record and click and move the the mouse over the spinning record it plays a sound and then when you roll off the dis the disc carries on spinning, if anyone can give me any idea on how this is done, I would appreciate it a lot as my flash skills are not that great. cheers
