Tutorial Displaying Hover Captions

Hi,

I’ve recently employed the Tutorial from Kirupa’s site “Displaying Hover Captions”. I’ve successfully got it working however it is in how I’m using it that there is one glitch.

I’m building a full flash navigable site that calls to ‘pages’ via loadMovie on button clicks and I’ve used the hover caption displaying the name of a photographer over a static movie/image on one of the loaded pages/movie. It is when on the main timeline when the main button that call the page in question is clicked the box that should hover over the photo image of the page is visible in a flash under the button on the main timeline just after release (though not the text).

Is there some way to get around this?

Sorry, I should probably add the examples so people can see, the file in question is here, clicking the ‘About’ button loads the about.swf and it is the button that shows the text hover box for a brief instant.

you made need to press it a few times due to the dealy in initial downloading;

and the fla with the hover information (“contents” is the movie window on the main navigation it is loading into

I have browsed back through the search functions on the hover topic but couldn’t find any that directly related to the strange bug.
