I’m working on the tutorial titled: [FONT=Verdana][SIZE=4][COLOR=#003366]
Flash[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][FONT=Verdana][SIZE=4][COLOR=#003366], PHP, and MySQL Integration
[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]and I can’t seem to get it to work. I even downloaded the source files and they won’t work. I have WAMP5 installed on my machine. I have created a table in a database properly. When I open the php file I get this:
&n=3&id0=3&&title0=Canned Laughter&&link0=http://www.cannedlaughter.net&&id1=4&&title1=Voetsjoeba&&link1=http://www.voetsjoeba.com&&id2=5&&title2=Kirupa&&link2=http://www.kirupa.com&&
Which shows the three items I inserted into my database. So, it seems to me that there’s no problem with the connection to the database or the php file. Somehow, it’s not coming into the flash file. It’s the exact file that came zipped with all the others in the tutorial, so I’m a bit baffled as to why it won’t work. It’s right there inside the same folder with the other files.
I’ve tried many things, but can’t seem to come across whatever it is that needs to happen to make this work. I’m SO hoping to figure it out, so I can take my learning to the next level. Can anyone please help?
