Has anyone out there ever created a tutorial? I have been hired to create one. My client wants something like the oneHERE
What program are they using? :sigh:
Any feedback would be appreciated…

Oh, inside the link, click the “V.3” icon, then “tour”
Well, you can use the Slide Shows included arleady in Flash MX, and use them as themplates… it comes out to something like this…
uh… Something like what? (-:
something like the stuff in the link…
AH…K
Thanks!
all depends on what type of tut it is -
if it’s for a totally new programme, explaying layout and things - I would screenshot everything in that prog and put it back together in flash and animate with all the functionnalities of flash - and export the whole thing as a .exe
if it’s photoshop/html/internet/anything else tutorial, I would definietley do it in html like the tuts on kirupa.com - easy to do =) !
It does need to be animated (it is about a robot programming language) I own a program called ScreenFlash. This prog. is very restricted as far as adding your own graphics. It only records in window mode.
There are a lot other tutorial makers. Check some of these:
RoboDemo 3.0 - one of the best flash screen capture programs
Viewlet Builder 3 - isn’t flash related but anyway very interesting since it captures the screen, mouse movement, clicks and keyboard presses
Camtasia Studio - not only it’s a great video editing software but it can also capture the screen activity and export it in video format or flash format (swf). There is also an awesome Camtasia Components set downloadable for free [URL=http://wcarchive.cdrom.com/pub/bws/bws_48/camtasiastudiocomp.zip]here. These components allow you to create the movie slider and movie duration info without any Actionscript knowledge.
Boy, i think i’m gonna stop here since i’m starting to talk like some car seller. =)
Thanks luk… I purchased a program called ScreenFlash… Although it spits out .swf, I don’t really like it. I am restricted as to what type of graphics I import…
Your suggestions sound cool…
What is the price range on Camtasia?
