Hey all, I’m posting to you from my old laptop that is now dressed in Feisty Fawn! However, I’m having one major issue with the wireless card that my laptop has built in.
I’ve researched a bit and found that I can try to get it to work with ndiswrapper and the Windows driver however I can’t even figure out how to install ndiswrapper lol… I’m lost and well I need some help! So, I’ve downloaded
ndiswrapper
The Windows Driver for my wireless card
And I’m trying to follow the help guide on the Official documentation however… I don’t understand it. So,
- How do I install ndiswrapper from the terminal when the folder is on my desktop?
- How do I extract that .ifi and the .sys files I need from the windows drivers with Cabextract (Which I installed)?
Yeah, thanks all of you linux users if ya could help me out here, maybe post to a video showing it.
