Hello, question for anyone who might know. I have downloaded some of the tutorials’ source files and sometimes they do not work. They say ‘unexpected file format’. I’m running FL5 and these are FL5 files, actually, Fl5 r6, and I’m also running version 6. Some work and some others don’t, any suggestions? thanks, dave.
if you are using flash 5 you cannot be using flash 5 r6 because that version is from flash MX saving in flash 5 format.
Your problem is that some files in the tutorilal section (specially in the flash MX area 
) are in flash MX format.
Or, you are a mac user.

i thought it might have been that…i was just not sure what mx called it’s versions, i know it’s version 6, but didn’t know if there were any other acronyms…:beam: thanks.
