Unfinished splash page for my site

Hey, I just finished what might be the splash page for my personal portfolio site.

I will probably use the color scheme and format for my actual site, so I wanted to make sure it was visually attractive and didn’t have any quirks.

Please post any comments about the splash page, even though it’s only an image and background at this point.
