I have noticed that every time I try to update a SWF file, it takes AAAAAGES to update on the webpage.
Is there any way to make the change instant…or near enough…like HTML changes?

OK maybe not all servers but it still takes a few minutes
It could just be your browser reading the cache rather than actually reloading the page,
I think its ctril+F5 to refresh the page fully
The best solution would be to empty your cache/temporary internet files. Even pressing Refresh causes the older, cached animation to load - for me at least
