Upload multiple files and overwrite

How do i upload multiple files at one time? using php and they should overwrite…

basically i have 4 fields… and if either one , or two or all four of the fields have been updated… on sumbit they should overwrite the past files…

so there are 4 images that should be overwritten if there is a new update…
