I´m searching ( desperately :m:) for some tutorial about DepthManager and Components in ActionScript and F8.

I´m getting crazy, after spending hours testing, and reading over and over the DepthManager Class reference, trying to create some ComboBoxes and Labels which insist to having their dropdown components appearing behind the container where they were created.

the “Basics” section would work. But honestly… if your a complete noob, i totally recommend the built in Flash tutorials.

Is there anything in particular I should take into consideration, as in for preparation, before installing the trial? Like things that need to be done before you even take stuff to the program?

liquid journey and levitated don’t have tutorials but they do have numerous source files and some extremely nice experimental flash. Some is outdated, but the concepts are the same. Good reference material regardless.

How to put the video into my personal website

I have a video which is converted into flv and swf formats. I did it with a software called Flash Video MX Pro. The software is great. I added many special effects with it. But how can I share my video with my friends. Someone told me that I could upload it to my personal website. Can anyone kindly enough to tell me how to put it into my personal website? And will the special effects influnce the quality? Thank you.

flash 8 is a flash editing program? Is it easy to use. I really want an easy to use yet powerful tool. ahhhhhh, I am a complete newbie. :expressionless:
