I am doing a site for a client (a band). They want to have mp3s available for fans to download.
How is this done in flash? I tried getURL but that didn’t seem to do anything.

Creat a text (call it download) mark it as static. In the url link in the properties panel target the link to your file on the server. I would zip it or something because some browsers might try to stream it.
