I’m new with flash mx and i wonder if someone could help me with this issue:
I have a web page www.filete.net and i want to create buttons on it (the yellow ones!!) but using flash mx.
Is it possible ? or do i have to make the all page on flash?
Does the program open a html page and you can ad new things to it?

Flash MX isn’t an html editor, but it’s possible to make your yellow buttons in flash and then using an embed tag to place it into your existing html layout. You can also use Dreamweaver which is a html editor that works really well with Flash MX, it allows you to import swf files from Flash and embed it into your html document.
as posted by electrongeek… yes you can remake them in flash without making the entire site a flash movie… although unless you plan on adding some sort of effect to the buttons I’d say leave them in the current format - just remaking them in flash willl only be work that doesnt really result in any sort of gain… now if you plan on trying to do something different (say more animated - or more interactive) then it might be agood idea to make them in flash… just my honest opinion.
