Using MYSQL software to set up a server

Hi people, I downloaded some software from the mysql site and i think it lets me set up a MYSQL server on my spare PC…

But i dont know how this is possible as it gives not server root, database name nuthing

Has anyone used this and got it to run fine?

Download something like XAMP, or EasyPHP - both have windows installers for easily setting up a php/mysql environment along with phpMyAdmin.
